GOVIS started as the Government Information Systems Managers’ Forum (GOVIS) in 1991 and has evolved over time from being a support network for the introduction of new technologies to becoming an incorporated society under the brand 'GOVIS' in 2007.

GOVIS continues to support people in local and central government to connect, share and learn about all aspects of information, technology and business process.

Currently, we offer a variety of lunch time sessions to member agencies and these vary from being in real life, to virtual or hybrid events.

GOVIS is led by an elected committee from a variety of government agencies and is underpinned by a Constitution.

More information about GOVIS can be found on our website.
